At OpenCognovate, we strive to provide a seamless and transparent publishing experience. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which cancellations and refunds may be requested.
Cancellation Policy
- Before Submission: If you decide not to proceed with your submission before the review process begins, you may cancel without any charges.
- After Submission: Once a manuscript has been submitted and is under review, cancellation requests will not be accepted.
- After Acceptance: Once a manuscript has been accepted for publication, cancellation is not permitted, as editorial and production processes will have begun.
Refund Policy
- Processing Fees: Open Access Publishing Fees (OAPF) or Chapter Processing Charges (CPC) are non-refundable once payment has been made, as these fees cover editorial, peer review, production, and indexing services.
- Duplicate Payment: In cases where a duplicate payment has been made, a full refund will be issued upon verification.
- Exceptional Circumstances: Refund requests due to unforeseen circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If a refund is granted, administrative charges may apply.
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days to the original payment method.
- Any applicable transaction fees charged by payment gateways will be deducted from the refund amount.
